What our technicians check for during a routine maintenance on your equipment:
• Inspect around and under your boiler equipment for leaking water
• Inspect gas line, water line, and emergency shut-offs
• Check temperature readings and/or pressure readings to make sure all are within the designed range
• Inspect the burner flame
• Clean burner assembly
• Inspect radiators and valves
• Check the system for any error or service codes on the display panel if applicable
• Make sure venting is not obstructed
• Inspect the combustion air opening for blockages
• Check for vibrations and noises in the equipment
• Check all valves, fittings, piping, drain line, drain system, and drain trap for blockages on a condensing boiler drain trap for blockages on a condensing boiler
• Clean and flush the condensate system if necessary
• Check low water cutoff
• Test safety and operating controls
• Check all wiring and electrical components
• Change of customer-provided filters
• Activate burners and inspect the flames
• Clean burner assembly
• Inspect gas line
• Complete a CO2 check
• Test for any air leaks on the plenum and seal if necessary
• Check registers for proper temperature and airflow. Will notify the homeowner if a duct cleaning is recommended
• Visually inspect for rust and dents
• Check ambient temperature throughout the home
• If there is an external thermometer on the furnace, we will check the calibration
• Inspect all connections
• Clean condenser and coil
• Remove any debris from in and around the air conditioner
• Inspect the system for any leaks
• Check levels of refrigerant (if levels are low, then the homeowner will be notified and advised of additional costs)
• Inspect registers for airflow and temperature. Advise homeowner if duct cleaning is recommended
• Recalibrate the thermostat
• Realigning any bent fan blades
• Check ambient temperature throughout the home
• Replace a standard 1” filter (if any other larger, it will be at an additional cost unless supplied by the customer)
